How PennyDB works

PennyDB is a Fortnite companion built mainly around Save the World. It shows the daily mission alerts and their rewards, player profiles and leaderboards, a schematic database, the STW llama and event store, and the STW timeline. On the Battle Royale side it has the Item Shop, a cosmetics database, player stats and tournament schedules. If you create an account and link your Epic account, you can also turn on account automation and see private data such as your storage and expeditions.

Yes. Browsing missions, profiles, leaderboards, shops, cosmetics and schematics needs no account at all. Creating a PennyDB account and linking Epic accounts is free too. The only option marked Premium in account settings ("Buy Legendary Llamas") isn't live for anyone yet.

No. PennyDB is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Epic Games. Fortnite names and artwork belong to Epic.

PL1NG is our Support-A-Creator code. If you enter it in the Fortnite Item Shop, Epic pays us a share of what you spend, at no extra cost to you. That money helps pay for the servers PennyDB runs on.

Only for the personal features: linking an Epic account, automation settings, private profile tabs (storage, backpacks, expeditions, collection book), buying from the Item Shop or STW store through the site, and opening support tickets. Everything else is public.

Create a PennyDB account with a username, email and password, then go to Account & connections and click "Connect Epic account". We ask Epic for a device login link and open it in a popup. You sign in on Epic's own website and approve the request. The page checks every few seconds and shows the account once Epic confirms it. If you don't approve it within about 3 minutes, the request expires and you can start again. You can link more than one Epic account.

No. You type your Epic password on epicgames.com, never on PennyDB. Your PennyDB password is only used for your PennyDB account. Once you sign in, the browser keeps a session token that lasts 30 days.

Go to Account & connections and remove the account. PennyDB stops acting on that account. Logging out of PennyDB signs you out in your browser only; it does not unlink your Epic accounts.

Each linked Epic account has its own settings page. The options you can turn on are: claim the free llama, auto-recycle, auto-research, auto-update quests, auto-reroll daily quests, and keep your creator code set. You save the settings to your PennyDB account and our backend applies them to that Epic account. Expeditions automation is shown as "Coming Soon", and "Buy Legendary Llamas" is Premium and switched off for now.

There are three strategies. "Best" puts points into Tech, then Offence, then Fortitude, then Resistance. "Even" spreads them evenly across all four. "Lowest" always tops up your lowest stat first. You can also set it to Off.

You pick a rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary. Auto-recycle uses that rarity as the cut-off for what it recycles and what it leaves alone. It only runs if you have turned Auto Recycle on.

It keeps a creator code of your choice set on your account, so it applies to your purchases. When you turn it on, the settings page offers to fill in PL1NG, but you can type any code.

Save the World missions and alerts rotate every day at 00:00 UTC. The mission pages show a countdown to the next reset. PennyDB checks the mission feed every minute, so new alerts appear shortly after the rotation.

Zone (Stonewood, Plankerton, Canny Valley, Twine Peaks and Ventures), reward type (V-Bucks, survivors, heroes, defenders, weapons, traps, evolution materials, XP and more), rarity, mission type, and whether it is a 4-player mission. There are also dedicated pages for V-Bucks alerts and Ventures missions.

The Battle Royale Item Shop comes from fortnite-api.com, and the page refreshes it every minute. You can filter by price, rarity, type, giftable, refundable, new, exclusive and more. Each item has a detail view with its video and past shop appearances. If your Epic account is linked, the shop also marks what you already own and lets you buy items with your V-Bucks.

The Save the World llama and event store: llamas, weapons, heroes, survivors, resources and event items, with search and a filter by currency (Gold, X-Ray tickets or event tickets). If your Epic account is linked, it shows your balances and lets you buy.

Type their Epic display name into the search bar at the top. Suggestions appear as you type; press Enter to open the profile. A profile shows power level, commander level, F.O.R.T. stats, endurance zones completed, and tabs for loadouts, heroes, survivors, schematics, defenders, resources, llamas, achievements and Ventures.

Most of the time the account's Fortnite stats are set to private, or the account doesn't own Save the World. The owner can turn on public game stats in their Epic account settings; the error page links to Epic's guide on how to do it.

Every profile PennyDB tracks is ranked across 42 stats in groups such as resources, evolution materials, superchargers, flux, perk-up, XP, designs and manuals, llamas and tickets, and account stats. There are separate Frostnite boards ranked by completion time. Rankings are rebuilt once a day, not in real time.

For each stat, we compare every player's latest value with their value about 24 hours earlier and show the biggest increases. Only players whose profile was updated in the last day are counted.

Up to 90 days of daily history for a player's resources. It has three views: daily gains, total value over time, and a summary. The history is built from the snapshots PennyDB records each time a profile is updated.

Yes. Profiles have a share button. Loadouts can be exported as image cards you can copy or download. You can also embed a small card on another site with an iframe; it shows power level, commander level, STW level and Ventures power.

A Windows desktop app that is separate from the website. It gives you an account overview, a survivor squad manager, a schematics vault, expedition tracking and a llama tracker, and it updates itself. There is a stable channel and a nightly channel, and installers come straight from our GitHub releases.

Donations are one-time card payments through Stripe, starting at 5 (GBP or USD). You can add a message, donate anonymously and choose to cover the card fees. The money pays for hosting and development. A donation doesn't unlock any feature, because every live feature is already free.
